THE POND: Birth-PreSchool

The infant nursery is our environment for the littlest ones at River Ridge, age birth through walking age. In the nest we provide a safe and nurturing environment withcaregivers that love taking care of babies. When they are mobile they move to our toddler environment which is more stimulating and interactive.

The toddler nursery is designed for infants from walking age to when they are ready for our preschool program. This environment is often a child’s first impression of church and, more

importantly, of God. Because of this we make the puddle warm, safe, and loving. We engage toddlers and use a curriculum designed for one and two year olds that employs storytelling, fun activities, snacks, and music.

PreSchool is our small group environment for ages 3, 4 and 5. FirstLook is the curriculum taught each Sunday in the pond.

We want our preschoolers to know:

Jesus Wants To Be My Friend Forever

River Camp is our small group environment for children in Kindergarten through Grade 5. In River Camp your children will learn how to study the Bible, worship through singing, learn the importance of spending time with God each day, and build quality friendships with other kids and adult small group leaders.

Over the course of 3 years, we will study 150 passages of scripture, 36 core values and emphasize 3 biblical truths:
I need to make the wise choice.
I can trust God no matter what.
I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

THINK ORANGE!

Orange is the color for Family Ministry because it represents the idea that “two combined influences will make a greater impact together than just two influences alone.” Church (yellow) and family (red) are fine on their own, but combine them and you get a third more vibrant option: orange!
